With a Nor'easter that struck the area starting on Sunday 10/29/17 and lasting through Monday 10/30/17, Mohegan FD responded to numerous calls for service during the storm and high winds. Mohegan FD responded to 16 fire/rescue calls over the course of 36 hours ranging from 4 motor vehicle accidents, 2 inside electrical problems, 2 activated fire alarms, 3 carbon monoxide alarms, 2 FAS-Team calls, 1 tree down on wires, 1 overheated dryer motor, and 1 good intent.
