On Friday 2/16/18 at approximately 5:25pm, Mohegan FD's FAS-Team was requested to a confirmed structure fire in a 5 story apartment building on Nelson Ave in the City of Peekskill. Mohegan FD Car 2263, and Engine 257/FAS-Team responded and upon arrival found that Peekskill FD held the apartment fire to a second floor apartment of this OMD (occupied multiple dwelling) with no further extension. Mohegan FD assisted Peekskill FD on scene, along with Buchanan FD and Montrose VA FD. Mohegan FD went back into service by 6pm.
