On Mon. 12/10/18, at approximately 12:30pm, Mohegan FD was requested to respond to the City of Peekskill FD for a structure fire on Main St. Due to Peekskill FD's Tower Ladder j45 temporarily out of service, our ladder was automatically dispatched, along with our FAS-Team once the 10-75 was transmitted. Mohegan FD Car 2261, 2267, 2269, and Ladder 35 responded with our manpower to the scene, while Croton FD's FAS-Team was then requested and responded to fulfill the FAS-Team request. Mohegan Firefighters arrived on scene and assisted on scene in fire extinguishment and extensive overhaul, with Ladder 35’s equipment including ground ladders, ventilation saws, and hand tools being utilized on the scene. Mohegan FD cleared the scene by 3pm once the fire was fully extinguished. Also assisting on scene were Montrose VA FD, Yorktown FD's FAS-Team, Buchanan FD, Peekskill EMS, and Westchester County Dept. of Emergency Services.
