Today Thurs 8/29/19, Mohegan FD (career and volunteer) along with Mohegan Volunteer Fire Association Volunteer Ambulance Corps were on hand once again at the final Sunset Market event of the year at the Jefferson Valley Mall on Lee Blvd in Yorktown. Our members were on hand with a booth displaying our equipment and handing out plastic fire helmets to all the children. We were also on hand with applications for membership and Engine 255 was on display at the event and children were given tours of the apparatus. Vehicles at this detail were Car 2261, 2262, 2268, Engine 255, and Utility 69 w/ Fire Prevention Trailer. Mohegan EMS had 6905 at this event. This detail started at 2pm and ran through 8:30pm with the theme being "Back to School”. We were visited by hundreds of children at this event and we thank the Jefferson valley Mall for the invite!
