Today Saturday 5/11/24, Mohegan FD was on hand at the Old Navy store located at the Cortlandt Town Center on East Main St (Rt 6) for their annual Child Safety Fair. Mohegan FD set up a table of fire prevention pamplets and had giveaways for the children to approximately 50 kids. Our members also discussed safety tips, and gave an apparatus display of Engine 253. Applications to join our dept were also available for pick up. This event went from 12pm-4pm. Also on hand were representatives from Mohegan EMS and the New York State Police with their seatbelt simulator. We thank Old Navy for the invite.
