On Sunday 6/2/24 at approximately 4pm, Mohegan FD’s Firefighter Assist and Search Team (FAS-Team) was dispatched to West Lake Blvd in the Mahopac Falls FD in Putnam County for a possible structure fire. Mohegan FD units Car 2262, 2268, and Engine 256 responded and while enroute, Mahopac Falls FD units arrived on scene and confirmed the working fire. Mohegan FD FAST arrived on scene and assisted for approximately 40 minutes before being released. Also assisting on scene were Mahopac FD, Carmel EMS, and Putnam County Bureau of Emergency Services.
