This burn ban prohibits the starting of outdoor fires statewide for purposes of brush and debris disposal, as well as un-contained campfires, and open fires used for cooking.

The picture posted is from an illegal open burn in which Mohegan FD responded to this evening! The resident was advised of the burn ban and we extinguished this fire without incident.
