On Saturday morning 3/15/25 just after midnight, Mohegan FD (volunteer and career) was requested to the scene of a structure fire on Depew St in the City of Peekskill. Mohegan FD was requested to the scene with our aerial ladder on the 1st Alarm assignment. Mohegan FD Car 2262, Car 2265, and Ladder 10 responded and upon arrival Mohegan firefighters spilt into different crews. These crews operated inside the structure and crews operating outside the structure preforming ladder company operations. The fire response expanded further with a 2nd alarm response before the fire was extinguished. Mohegan FD units remained on scene assisting until being released by Peekskill FD. Also assisting at this scene were Yorktown FD, Croton FD, Montrose VA FD, Continental Village FD, Montrose FD, Millwood FD, Peekskill EMS, Cortlandt Regional Paramedics, and Westchester County Dept of Emergency Services resources.
