On Thurs evening 4/14/11, the newly elected Fire Chiefs of the Lake Mohegan Fire District were sworn in by the Board of Fire Commissioners at the monthly Commissioners meeting held at the Jefferson Valley Fire Station. Chief Brian Wolert was sworn is by Board Chairman Dave Zugner as Chief of Department. His badge was pinned on his uniform by his daughter Katherine Wolert, who is a member of the Ambulance Corps. Commissioner Zugner also swore 1st Assistant Chief Adam Cerrato and 2nd Assistant Chief Chris Beyrer into their respective ranks. Chief Cerrato had his badge pinned on his uniform by his brother Andrew, who is the newly elected House Chairman of the MVFA. Chief Beyrer had his uniform badge pinned on by his wife Laura. Congratulations to the newly sworn Chiefs. The MVFA annual elections were held by the membership on Thurs. 4/7/11 and the results are as follows:
