Today Saturday 5/20/23, Mohegan FD held it’s bi-annual Chiefs Inspection at our LMFD Station #3 (Furnace Woods Station). This Chiefs Inspection was held for outgoing Chief Chris Gravius, who served as Chief from April 2021- April 2023. The event was attended by numerous local fire departments, dignitaries, invited guests, and Chief Gravius's family. Chief Gravius received Plaques, Proclamations, and Certificates of Appreciation from various fire departments, and fire dept social organizations. Although the weather was not in our favor, all those who attended enjoyed themselves. We thank Putnam Valley Fire Department and Millwood Fire Department for standing by and covering our fire/rescue calls in our district during this event!
