On Sunday 11/10/24, Mohegan FD marched in the annual Town of Yorktown Veterans Day Parade in Shrub Oak. This has become an annual event as this parade is on East Main St in our fire district. Apparatus in the parade were 2263, 2266, Rescue 32, Engine 256, and Utility 69. Mohegan EMS also participated in the parade. The parade started at Lakeland High School and ended at the John C. Hart Memorial Library, where a ceremony was held to recognize our military personnel. Numerous community and civic organizations marched in this parade. During the parade, Utility 50 and our Fire-Police personnel assisted Yorktown PD with road closures and traffic control. We would like thank all of our Veterans for their service to our Country!
