Tonight Sunday 11/17/19 at approximately 11:15pm, Mohegan FD assisted in escorting home Lakeland Central School District’s Lakeland High School Varsity Girls Field Hockey Team. These ladies who won the 2019 New York State Class B Championship today! CONGRAULATIONS LADIES! The team played the championship game against Garden City (Long Island) in Alden, NY (Buffalo area) and Mohegan FD escorted from the Annsville Circle to Lakeland HS with Car 2261, 2262, 2263, Utility 80, Ladder 35, Engine 252, Rescue 32, and our 1976 Ward LaFrance Antique Pumper. The Mohegan Volunteer Fire Association Volunteer Ambulance Corps assisted with 6905 and 69B2. The Yorktown Police Department also assisted with the escort.
